this necklace is a part of a collection entitled "Getting Through It". this piece, The Body Keeps Score is to represent the way trauma can affect you physically, even if you don't process the trauma itself. i chose to use purple in this piece because it is the color used to represent fibromyalgia. as a sufferer of fibro i know all too well the way the body will hold on to pain even when you feel that your mind has moved on.
this necklace is 18" long. it's made with a clear acrylic pendant, purple Swarovski and preciosa crystals, quartz globes, opalite stars, faceted clear glass, and more.
